Get your resume past the AI that screens it

Software reads your resume before a person does: a parser, knockout rules, then a ranking model. Send what you have, a PDF, a Word file, a LinkedIn screenshot or pasted text, and the rewrite comes back as a Word document, with your LinkedIn headline and About, in about ten minutes.

1 Give it what you have

Upload your resume or a LinkedIn screenshot

Any of these works, more is better: the resume you have now, a screenshot of your LinkedIn profile, or both. Up to three files, 8 MB each.

    or

Add the job description (recommended: it is what the screener compares you against)

By sending this you join the Saturday email (one a week, unsubscribe any time). Nothing you upload is stored: it is read, rewritten, emailed to you and deleted. Only your email address and a count of rewrites are kept.

      2 What arrives by email

One email, four blocks, ready to paste

Not a template. Your own history, rewritten in the structure the parser, the knockout rules and the ranking model each need, with nothing invented.

      What is an AI-screening-ready resume?

An AI-screening-ready resume is a single-column, plain-text document with standard section headings, consistent dates, the target role's exact title, the job description's must-have terms used only where they are true, and a result in every bullet. It is written so the three readers that see it before a recruiter does, the parser, the knockout rules and the ranking model, each find what they look for in the place they look for it. This page rewrites your resume into that form and emails it back as a Word document.

Why am I not getting shortlisted in 2026?

Usually not because of what you did, but because of how the file reads to software. Two-column layouts and tables get parsed out of order, so a parser files your last job under your education. A title that does not match the posting fails a knockout rule before anyone reads a word. Bullets that describe duties instead of results give the ranking model nothing to rank. Each of these is fixable in an afternoon, and none of them need a new job history.

What does an AI screener actually read?

Three things, in order. First the parser: it wants one column, standard headings (Summary, Experience, Skills, Education), dates written the same way everywhere, and plain text with no icons or images. Second the knockout rules: the role title, years of experience, location, and the must-have skills, matched by the exact words in the job description. Third the ranking model: it summarises your resume against the posting and scores evidence, so a bullet that says what you did, how, and with what result outscores a longer bullet that lists responsibilities. The recruiter sees the shortlist that survives all three.

How should a resume be written for AI screening?

      1. One column, plain text. No tables, text boxes, headers, footers, or photos. One font. Save as .docx or a text-based PDF, never a scanned image.
      2. Standard headings in the standard order. Summary, Experience, Skills, Education, Certifications. Reverse chronological. Dates as "Mar 2023 to Present".
      3. Mirror the posting's must-have terms, honestly. If the job says "customer relationship management (CRM)", write it that way once, with the abbreviation. Only the terms you genuinely have.
      4. Use the role title verbatim in your summary when your experience supports it. "Customer Success Manager" beats "CSM" and "Client Happiness Lead".
      5. Every bullet carries a result. Verb, what, how, outcome, with a number where you have one. Three to five bullets for recent roles, fewer for older ones.
      6. Match LinkedIn to it. Recruiter search runs on the same words. Headline with the role words first, About that opens with the role and the proof.

That is what the rewrite does to your text. It never invents an employer, a date, a degree, or a number: where a bullet needs a figure you did not give, it leaves "[add number]" for you to fill in, and the GAPS block at the end tells you what the posting asks for that your resume does not yet evidence.

      What can I upload?

A PDF or Word (.docx) resume, a PNG or JPG screenshot of your LinkedIn profile (the top card and the About section are enough), or a phone photo of a printed resume. You can send up to three files at once, for example your resume and two LinkedIn screenshots, or paste the text instead. Whatever you send is read once, used for the rewrite, and deleted.

Does this work for LinkedIn too?

Yes. The email includes a headline under 220 characters, an About section between 900 and 1,500 characters written in first person, and the five skills to pin, all using the role words from the job description where that is honest. Recruiters run searches on headline and About, so put them on your profile the same day you send the resume.

Does it work for jobs in India?

It is built for them. Naukri, LinkedIn India and the career pages of Indian IT services, startups and banks all run the same parse, knockout, rank sequence; the difference is that Indian postings lean harder on exact tool names, notice period and years of experience, so the rewrite keeps those visible in the summary and the skills line. Paste the Indian posting as it is, in whatever English it uses.

      What does it cost?

The first rewrite is free. Each one after it, for a new role or a new posting, is 500 INR, paid by UPI through Razorpay with the same email you use here. There is no subscription and nothing to cancel.

      Do you keep my resume?

No. The files and text you send are held only until the email goes out, usually ten minutes, then deleted. What stays is your email address, the date, and how many rewrites you have had, so the free one stays free and a paid one is honoured. The email you receive is the only copy, so save it.

      Who built this?

Vinayak Kapoor. Fifteen years on the human side of cybersecurity, climbed rung by rung from a first job at seventeen, grooming and leading people along the way. Today he builds agentic AI, companies where AI agents do real work every day: HuMatrix, the capability intelligence layer this tool runs on, MaaSify on top of it, and Quarry, an agentic AI demand engine. He writes about using AI to make careers stronger. The rewrite behind this page is a HuMatrix agent: it extracts the facts from what you send, writes against the job post, then a second pass audits every line against your original so nothing is invented. Questions or a result that looks wrong: reply to the email it arrives in.
